Privacy Policy

When you create an account, we collect your name and email address. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email from Google's OAuth service. We do not receive or store your Google password.

When you use IdeaGrit to validate an idea, we store the idea text and the AI-generated analysis results associated with your account. We also collect standard server logs including IP address, browser type, and pages visited.

We use your information to:

- Provide and improve the IdeaGrit service - Send transactional emails (account confirmation, purchase receipts) - Send our weekly newsletter if you subscribed (you can unsubscribe at any time) - Diagnose technical issues and monitor service health

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your idea content for training AI models.

Your data is stored on Supabase (PostgreSQL), hosted in the United States. We use industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access to production databases is restricted to authorised personnel only.

Validation reports are associated with your account and are not publicly accessible. If you delete your account, your data is deleted within 30 days.

IdeaGrit uses the following third-party services:

- Supabase — authentication and database - OpenAI — AI analysis (your idea text is sent to OpenAI's API; see OpenAI's privacy policy) - Stripe — payment processing (we never see or store your card details) - Resend — transactional email delivery - Amazon Web Services — file storage

Each provider has their own privacy policy governing their use of data.

IdeaGrit uses session storage (not cookies) to keep you logged in within a browser tab. We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels. Analytics, if used, are privacy-preserving and do not identify individual users.

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. To request deletion of your account and all associated data, email us at hello@ideagrit.foundersailab.com with the subject line "Delete my account". We will process your request within 7 business days.

We may update this policy from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated by email. Continued use of IdeaGrit after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
